Rome Dream Guide provides a digital online travel guide to Rome, Italy (the “Guide”).
The Guide may include, but is not limited to:
The Guide is accessed online through a web browser and is not a downloadable PDF or physical product.
The Guide is accessed via a standard, up-to-date web browser and requires an active internet connection. It does not use digital rights management (DRM) or other technical access-restriction measures beyond the account login described in Section 5. The Guide is designed to work with current versions of major browsers (e.g. Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge) on desktop and mobile devices. We are not responsible for access issues caused by outdated browsers, unsupported devices, or third-party internet connectivity problems.
The Guide is currently offered for a one-time purchase price of €49. Any applicable taxes will be displayed at checkout.
Payment is processed securely by Stripe.
Available payment methods may include payment cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay and other payment methods supported by Stripe.
A purchase confirmation and information required to access your account will be sent to the email address provided at checkout.
Your order constitutes an offer to purchase the Guide. Your order is accepted when we confirm your purchase and provide or make available access to the Guide.
Before completing payment, you will have the opportunity to review your order and correct any input errors prior to final confirmation.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order where there is a genuine reason to do so, including suspected fraud, payment issues or technical errors relating to the price or availability of the Guide. If we cancel an order after payment has been taken, we will refund the amount paid.
We may refuse, cancel or suspend an order or access to the Guide where we reasonably suspect fraud, unauthorised payment activity or other unlawful activity. Where payment has already been taken and the order is cancelled, we will refund the amount paid, subject to any rights or obligations we may have under applicable law.
You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into this contract in order to purchase the Guide.
Upon purchase, an account will be created for you using the information provided at checkout.
Your account is for your personal use and may be used by you and your travelling companions. You must not share your login credentials or provide access to people who have not purchased the Guide.
We may suspend or terminate access where we reasonably believe that an account is being shared or used in breach of these Terms.
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity carried out through your account.
If you believe your account has been accessed without your authorisation, or you experience difficulty accessing the Guide, please contact us at hello@romedreamguide.com.
Your purchase provides access to the Guide for as long as Rome Dream Guide continues to make the Guide available.
The Guide is currently offered on this basis as a one-time purchase.
We reserve the right to change the commercial terms, pricing and access period offered to future purchasers. Any such changes will not retrospectively alter the contractual rights of customers who have already purchased the Guide.
If we introduce a new way to access the Guide (such as a mobile app) in place of, or alongside, the website, existing purchasers will continue to have access to the Guide’s core content at no additional charge. Any substantially new features or products introduced separately from the Guide may be offered at an additional cost.
If we permanently discontinue the Guide, we will give existing purchasers at least 30 days’ notice by email where reasonably possible before access ends. Access may then cease when the Guide is no longer operated or made available. We will comply with any rights or remedies that apply under applicable consumer and digital-content law.
Under applicable EU and Italian consumer protection law, consumers ordinarily have a 14-day right of withdrawal from distance contracts.
However, this right does not apply to digital content not supplied on a tangible medium where the consumer has given prior express consent for performance to begin during the withdrawal period and has acknowledged that they thereby lose their right of withdrawal.
Because the Guide is digital content supplied online and access is provided immediately after purchase, at checkout you will be asked to actively confirm:
“I request immediate access to the digital Guide and acknowledge that I lose my 14-day right of withdrawal once access begins.”
This confirmation is not pre-selected and must be actively accepted at checkout. We will confirm your consent and acknowledgement in your purchase confirmation email.
Once you have provided this consent and acknowledgement and access to the digital content has begun, the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to the digital content, subject to applicable law.
This does not affect any mandatory statutory rights or remedies you may have in relation to defective, non-conforming or improperly supplied digital content.
If you experience a technical problem that prevents you from accessing the Guide, please contact us at hello@romedreamguide.com.
We will make reasonable efforts to investigate and resolve technical problems within a reasonable timeframe.
Where the Guide does not conform to applicable legal requirements for digital content, you retain the mandatory remedies and protections provided by applicable Italian and EU consumer law.
Depending on the circumstances, these may include bringing the Guide into conformity, a proportionate price reduction or termination of the contract where the applicable legal requirements are met.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any statutory consumer rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
We create and maintain the Guide in good faith and make reasonable efforts to provide useful and accurate information.
