ABOUT US

Rome Dream Guide

Rome is one of the most visited cities in the world, yet planning a trip here can feel surprisingly complicated.

Between endless social media posts, conflicting recommendations, outdated information, and hundreds of places claiming to be “must-sees”, it’s often difficult to know what’s genuinely worth your time and how to make the most of your visit.

After years of helping visitors navigate the city, we noticed the same questions coming up again and again:

That's why we created Rome Dream Guide…

WHO WE ARE

Rome Dream Guide was created by a team of Roman locals and long-term residents who first fell in love with Rome as visitors themselves and eventually chose to make the city their home. This combination of local knowledge and first-hand travel experience gives us a unique perspective. We know Rome inside and out, but we also remember what it’s like to arrive here for the first time, excited to explore but unsure where to begin.

Over the last decade, we’ve worked with thousands of travellers from around the world, answering questions, sharing recommendations, and helping people navigate everything from iconic sights to memorable experiences beyond the usual tourist trail.

WHAT WE BELIEVE

We believe the best trips aren’t measured by how many landmarks you manage to tick off a list.

They are the moments you’ll still be talking about years later: finding a restaurant you’ll recommend to friends back home, discovering a beautiful hidden corner of the city by chance, enjoying a long lunch in a sunlit piazza, or finally seeing a place you’ve dreamed of visiting for years.

Rome has no shortage of incredible experiences. The challenge is knowing how to make the most of your time once you’re here. That’s where we are here to help. Everything inside Rome Dream Guide is built around one simple goal: helping you spend less time researching, feel more prepared and confident, and enjoy the moments that make a trip to Rome so special.

WHY VISITORS TRUST US

Whether it's your first visit to Rome or your fifth, we are honoured to be part of your journey.

We hope Rome Dream Guide helps you feel prepared, confident, and excited for everything that awaits you in the Eternal City.

We ate like locals every single night and found some beautiful places away from all the crowds. We found my new favourite restaurant in Rome, and we can use the guide again when we come back next time! I appreciated the multiple language selections inside.

The airport taxi information saved us from being overcharged on day one. The driver tried charging us more but we knew the fixed price already. So glad we had this before we landed. Super friendly team, grazie!

I really appreciate the team at Rome Dream Guide helping me to avoid tourist traps and know what to look for, to avoid scams. I felt like I could relax and enjoy Rome knowing how it works, without second guessing everything.
